Privacy at Roomspec
Room photos are personal. This notice explains what Roomspec collects, why it is needed and the choices available to you.

Roomspec is a brand operated by Mohammed Abdullahi, based in Abuja, Nigeria. Privacy questions can be sent to support@roomspec.co.
Information we collect
- Your room photo and the room preferences, budget and instructions you submit.
- The resulting room analysis, redesign, plan and product selections.
- A private session identifier needed to keep your project accessible in your browser.
- Your email address if you choose passwordless sign-in or include it in a contact request.
- Operational events such as project completion, errors, product-link clicks and feedback needed to run and improve the beta.
How we use it
We use this information to create and restore your redesign, operate account access, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, understand whether the product is useful and answer messages you send us. We do not sell room photos or use them as public examples without separate permission.
Service providers
Roomspec uses Google Cloud to host the application and Supabase for private storage, database services and passwordless authentication. When live generation is enabled, submitted room material may be processed by OpenAI to create the requested analysis or image. These providers process information on Roomspec’s behalf to deliver their services.
Following a retailer link sends you to that retailer. The retailer’s own privacy and cookie practices then apply. Roomspec will clearly disclose affiliate links when approved affiliate relationships become active.
Storage and retention
Room photos and generated project files are held in private storage and use the expiry period shown in the product when you create the project. The current beta displays that period on the redesign page. Limited operational, consent, security and cost-accounting records may be retained longer where needed to run and protect the service.
You can delete an accessible project from its project controls. Deletion removes its private room and result files from active storage and marks the project deleted.
Your choices
You can use a private session without creating an email account, choose not to upload a photo, delete an accessible project, or contact us about information associated with you. Do not upload a photo unless you have permission to use it.
