A room idea should survive real life.
Roomspec turns one room photo, a budget and a little intent into a visual direction you can understand—and a practical plan you can act on.
Why Roomspec exists
Room inspiration is easy to collect and surprisingly hard to execute. A beautiful image does not tell you what to keep, what to move, what deserves the budget or whether the proposed products work together.
Roomspec is being built to close that gap. The redesigned image provides the emotional first win. The room moves and product basket explain how to move toward it without pretending a photo can supply measurements it does not contain.
Our working principles
- Preserve and reposition useful furniture before recommending replacements.
- Treat a budget as a ceiling rather than a spending target.
- Let the room plan create product needs—not the other way around.
- Keep fit, price freshness, availability and uncertainty visible where they affect a decision.
- Exclude structural, electrical and plumbing changes from ordinary recommendations.
Where the product stands
Roomspec is an independent, early-stage brand operated by Mohammed Abdullahi in Abuja, Nigeria. The core redesign experience is functional, while broader retailer coverage, paid refinement and personalization are still being developed. We describe those limits plainly instead of presenting future work as finished.
